DMT from phalaris

I have read on the dmt.lycaeum.org/extract/phalaris.html that a simple 1/3 lemon juice, 2/3 water boiled "quickly" extraction will produce the liquid that can be injested (with maoi) or evaporated and smoked for a very intense dose of dmt. Yet a lot of people are talking about chemical extractions. What is advantage/disadvantage of each? Can i also have more info on lemon juice extraction. How much water per gram of phalaris? can this be done to psychotria veridis dry leaves? How long daoes it take to evaporate?

Phalaris yields mostly 5-MeO-DMT ("the Power").
